The Creation Baby Boutique was held on September 16 in Lincoln Park. There were lots of new parents as well as expecting parents present. There were a lot of exciting events, including a maternity fashion show, a toddler fashion show that drew a lot of excited parents and parents-to-be. NEIDA spent the day representing NEIDA’s members to the public, providing education about doulas and their benefits to expecting couples. |

The rain clouds gathered at the beginning of the afternoon and everyone wondered whether or not Mother Nature would be kind to NEIDA. But, in the end, she decided to shine some sun down on us.  There were lots of kids swimming and having a great time, while the adults had the chance to talk about doula life - from the challenges of finding day care to finding out how other doulas run their business. Everyone had the chance to put names to faces and meet the partners as well. There was lots of great food and everyone had a wonderful time!
